Generating price lists

Introduction

In Exact Globe, you can generate or update price lists on purchase prices and price agreement for a specific supplier and currency in Microsoft Excel using the price lists functionality.

What version are you using?

The information in this document is based on product update 401. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.

Fields

Print

Select this to generate the price list in the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. This price list is not updated to Exact Globe.

Maintain

Select this to generate price list in the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. This updates the price list with a new price to Exact Globe.

Range section

Currency

Select the currency to print or maintain price list for the selected currency. This information is mandatory.

Supplier

Select the supplier to print or maintain the price list for the selected supplier. This information is mandatory.

Date

Select a range of dates to print or maintain the price list for the selected dates. Select the All check box to generate price list for all date range.

Item

Select an item or a range of items to print or maintain the price list for the selected item(s). Select the All check box to print or maintain the price list for any items.

Item group

Select an item group or a range of item groups to print or maintain the price list for items with the selected item group(s). Select the All check box to print or maintain the price list for items with any item group.

Price agreement

Select this check box to print or maintain the price list for price agreements for the selected supplier.

Purchase price

Select this check box to print or maintain the price list for purchase prices.

Assortments

Click this to print or maintain the price list for items linked to the selected assortment(s). After an assortment is selected, “In use” is displayed.

Show section

Columns

Select All to display all columns (the quantities and discounts) of the price agreements or purchase prices. Select the numbered check boxes to display the number of columns to be shown for the price agreements or purchase prices.

Extra section

Group by

Select None to not group the price lists. Select Item group to group price lists of purchase prices or price agreements by item group.

Show

Select the information to be displayed in the price lists. Select one of the following options:

New price – Select New price to display the new price for the price agreement in the price lists.
Discount % - Select Discount % to display discount percentage for the price agreement in the price lists.
Discount amount – Select Discount amount to display the discount amount for the price agreement in the price lists. This option is available if you have selected Maintain when generating the price lists.
All – Select All to display the discount percentage, discount amount, and new prices for the price agreements in the price lists. This option is available only if you have selected Maintain when generating the price lists.

Purchase price

Select this check box to display the purchase prices for the price lists being generated.

Standard sales price

Select this check box to display the standard sales prices for the price lists being generated.

Note: By selecting the Standard sales price check box, the standard sales price will be reflected in the Microsoft Excel report, when you click Start.

Show: Supplier’s item code

Select this check box to display the supplier’s item code in the price lists being generated.

Options section

Generate: Price agreement

Select the Generate: Price agreement check box to generate price agreement for the price lists being displayed. This option is available if you select Maintain in generating the price lists.

Quantity

Type the quantity to generate the price agreement for the entered quantity.

Note: This option is available if you have selected Maintain when generating the price lists. Also, it is enabled only if you have selected the Generate: Price agreement check box.

Purchase price: Discount %

Type the discount percentage for the purchase price of the items being displayed in the price lists.

Note: This option is available only if you have selected Maintain when generating the price lists. Also, it is enabled only if you have selected the Generate: Price agreement check box.

Start

Click this to generate the price lists based on the specified criteria.
